The Ann Bean Mansion Guest Experience

You're reading on because you must care about who we are and what we believe hospitality should be — or at least how such matters will affect your stay. Thank you for your interest and please ask us about any of the following statements.
  1. Guest Mentality...
We refer to our "customers" as "guests" because guests, like friends, are personally welcomed and invited into our home. We are familiar without being intrusive, personal while respecting guests' privacy, and professional but not constrained.
  2. Integrity...
This is an overused, arbitrary word in today's culture. But we as owners value honesty, principle, and excellence: When interacting with guests, choosing products, and offering services, we will conduct business with sound moral character. If for any reason we must alter a previously communicated agreement, we will discuss options immediately and work toward the benefit and satisfaction of all involved.
  3. Retreat...
Not all guests come for the same reasons, but all guests show an appreciation for privacy, quiet, and rest. We offer the presence of peace and the opportunity for retreat and recovery to all guests — whether they're here to celebrate an occasion or find solace from the busy-ness of life.
  4. Consistency...
We strive to do business in a manner where guests can know they will receive the same respect, care, and consideration with every visit. This call to consistent quality service also extends to amenities: Furniture and room details consistently offer comfort, class, and convenience. The unpredictable does happen; if guests experience a maintenance problem we will attend to it immediately or offer a fair solution.
  5. Quality...
In order to provide the ideal experience for our guests, we provide amenities which offer comfort, class, and convenience; service which extends beyond satisfactory hospitality; breakfasts which show an understanding of the refined palate; and the utmost care in cleanliness.
  6. Gratitude...
We are grateful to our guests for choosing our Mansion as the backdrop to celebrate a special occasion — or to just get away. Guests and staff are important to us, and we could not "do our job" without them. We recognize their significance and say thank you often!
  7. Ownership...
We take responsibility for fiscal and time commitments, and strive to be in control and practice rightly-ordered and wise spending of each.
  8. Success...
Our staff — owners, assistant innkeepers, and housekeepers — play a vital role in the success of this business. The staff credo is a reminder of why it is a privilege to serve our guests.
