In all her twenty-six years, she had never experienced a true picnic. Packing cold chicken sandwiches, fruit salad, and white wine into a basket, he handed her the blanket and took her other hand in his own. It was a short walk to the ancient maple tree at the edge of town, and he made a show of laying out the blanket and distributing the spread.

She laughs from the third-floor room as he repeats those same motions from long ago. Today there is snow on the ground and they cannot be outdoors, but a proper picnic in front of a warm fire is just as magical.

This third floor suite offers a king size bed, gas fireplace, and ample space to lounge all day: watch a favorite flick on the TV/DVD player, curl up in the (twin) nook bed with a book, enjoy a game of Cribbage at the gate-leg table, picnic in front of the fire!

Cynthia's private bathroom features a double whirlpool tub, set in the recess of the vaulted turret and beneath a vintage chandelier.  Also includes separate rain shower and heated tile flooring.
